Unveiling: Play Today, Shape Tomorrow

Our latest mural highlights Chicago Children’s Museum, showcasing the transformative power of play and imagination. Created in collaboration with Landor, this mural weaves artwork from children in the museum’s Thaddeus Wong and Emily Sachs Wong Art Studio with elements from other iconic exhibits. The dynamic imagery and bold colors reflect their belief in every child's boundless potential to shape their future through play and learning.

Play Today, Shape Tomorrow

"Play Today, Shape Tomorrow" is Chicago Children's Museum's commitment to fostering lifelong learning and inspiring curiosity in young minds. Through play, children not only learn about the world around them but discover their potential to make a difference. As visitors engage with the mural, we hope they are inspired by the limitless possibilities that play offers in fostering curiosity and creativity. The mural serves as a reminder of Chicago Children’s Museum’s commitment to nurturing young minds and empowering them to discover their potential by blending artistic expression with educational experiences, aiming to build a future where every child has the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Partnering for Lifelong Learning

Celebrating New Horizons

As Chicago Children’s Museum unveils its new exhibit, Aim High: Soaring with the Tuskegee Airmen, featuring Black Wings: American Dreams of Flight, we celebrate the museum’s ongoing commitment to interactive and educational experiences. Opening on September 28, this exhibit honors the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen while exploring STEAM concepts through engaging activities like a cockpit flight trainer and praxinoscope. Black Wings highlights the achievements of African American aviators who broke barriers in aviation history.
